The company is preparing for multiple commercial launches and is continuing to build U.S. and global commercial capabilities. Its first approved drug, ONPATTRO (patisiran), was approved in 2018 as the first-ever RNAi approved by the FDA in the US for the treatment of the polyneuropathy of hereditary transthyretin-mediated (hATTR) amyloidosis in adults. The successful candidate will also be part of the U.S. sales leadership team responsible for the potential launch and commercialization of Alnylam's second therapeutic in Alnylam's TTR portfolio. Vutrisiran is an investigational medicine currently under review by the FDA for the treatment of the polyneuropathy of hATTR amyloidosis.
We are seeking a seasoned strategic commercial leader, with strong business acumen, and executive presence, who is passionate about people development and deeply motivated by the quest of delivering value to patients and their families.
Reporting to the VP, US Business Unit Lead TTR (BUL), the successful candidate will play a key role in the U.S. launch of Alnylam's investigational product, vutrisiran and manage the sales of ONPATTRO in the US West area. He/She will be responsible for TTR product commercialization through the build and oversight of our West field-based ONPATTRO Regional Business Directors with appropriate coordination across Alnylam Assist (our in-house Patient Support Services team), Field Reimbursement, Training, Business Operations, Legal and Compliance. He/she will partner closely with the US Marketing team across all activities and coordinate appropriately with Medical Affairs. He/she will foster a culture of accountability and lead sales team to meet or exceeds targets.
