Lead IT Project Analyst (Finance)
The Federal Reserve Bank is looking for a motivated, talented, and experienced Project Analyst passionate about innovation, to work with and support the National Solutions Services leadership and product teams. This group is part of the Information Technology Services (ITS) department of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRBSF), which has partnered with National IT (NIT) to operate behalf of the Federal Reserve System. The NSS vision is to be the trusted strategic partner that accelerates breakthroughs across the System.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrate leadership, produce quality deliverables, be able to take direction and work independently, and be able to manage your workload to meet project timelines.
This role is a critical component to our team's success. It requires sound judgment, an eye for accuracy, and discretion in handling confidential information. A successful candidate will have the ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously and to communicate effectively with senior management and anticipate their needs. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• You will ensure timely and accurate distribution of communications and effectively multi-task and manage competing demands
• You will coordinate special projects in support of ITS and National Solutions Services product and Group goals
• You will prepare and present clear and graphically sound project materials related to Group projects and programs
• Develop strong relationships with local and System colleagues in support of business operations
• You will compose and edit correspondence with very high standards for grammar, spelling and document formatting and while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
• Consistently convey a professional and friendly response to callers, visitors, and colleagues, providing high quality customer service both internal and external to the Bank
• You will coordinate travel arrangements by identifying travel options, booking the reservations, ensuring arrangements comply with Bank policies, providing follow-up on special travel requests and preparing travel itineraries and expense reports
• You will use good judgment to run complex calendar and scheduling for 5-7 leaders by maintaining calendars, coordinating and scheduling appointment requests, preparing meeting materials, and effectively handling all requests and monitoring resolution/follow-up
• Coordinate logistics necessary for meetings by working with Event Management staff, Facilities, and Police Services, etc. as necessary and ensuring expenses comply with Bank policies
Qualifications:
• Five or more years of relevant experience coordinating complex projects with multiple executive stakeholders
• Strong technical proficiency and knowledge of computer hardware and software, including Windows, Visio, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat and a strong user of collaboration tools, such as SharePoint, Web Conferencing, sharing documents
• Analytical proficiency and ability to translate findings using visual elements such as graphs, tables, etc.
• Confirmed ability to multi-task with a heightened attention to detail
• Strong ability to quickly learn and master multiple business specific applications to submit requests. and to understand and align with information security policies and procedures
• Demonstrated good judgment to seek help from manager or escalate issues appropriately
• Consistently focus on providing high level of service and collaboration with the team while maintaining the utmost level of confidentiality all times
• Analytical, collaboration, leadership, critical thinking, multitasking, and time management skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to create various documentation, diagrams and timelines
• Ability to document procedures, keep them current and seek team input to improve upon them
• Ability to coordinate and work with diverse groups of subject matter experts
• Ability to influence successfully in a highly matrix or virtual organization
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and cultural EQ with ability to navigate between different communication styles and disciplines
• Must possess solid business acumen
• Some travel may be required
• Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder with the intent to become a US Citizen
Education:
• Masters degree or equivalent knowledge and work experience
• Background in communications preferred
