We are looking for a full-time Director of Public Relations for our headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible as the Director of Public Relations to serve as Garmin?s spokesperson, manage a team of public relations associates and direct all global public relations and media relations strategies for Garmin. The Director will form strong professional relationships with members of the media and influential professionals to generate positive, wide-reaching media coverage for Garmin. Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Engineering or a related field. Other requirements include:
International business experience, Strong aptitude for consumer electronics devices, Solid financial acumen and effective business negotiation skills, Experience with industry analysts and/or the institutional investor community, and International business experience are highly preferred.
