Principal Electrical Engineer (Finance)
Medtronic Diabetes is looking for a Principal Level Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, documentation and test of novel electronic systems with analog, digital and RF circuits for both AC line powered and battery-operated microcontroller/microprocessor based medical devices. In this exciting role you will also lead the design and development of automated test systems or subsystems for testing the devices described above in both laboratory and manufacturing test environments.
You will lead the electrical engineering function on projects, representing the function within the Product Development Core teams, generating electrical hardware requirements, electrical system design, electronic circuit design, embedded software development, developing test requirements and test procedures as well as PC-based simulation and data acquisition. Qualified candidates are able to write detailed electrical specifications, generate and review design documentation, test specifications and test reports in compliance with design control procedures. Exposure to the medical device industry is preferred. You will work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, team environment that supports your growth and aspirations.

Education Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline
Years of Experience
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of required experience
