Controls SW Development and HIL Engineer (Engineering)
Position Overview
This position will be part of the Proterra Powered Software Engineering Team and dividing time between two core responsibilities: developing Simulink software for embedded controllers and conducting HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) software validation. This team supports software release and testing for all Proterra Powered applications of high voltage controls, battery interactions, and vehicle charge control. With the vast variety of Powered applications, this engineer will have the ability to interact with multiple dynamic and fast paced projects in the EV space. The primary responsibilities will involve designing comprehensive test suites to validate control software functionalities and identify any defects associated with various controllers. The Controls SW Development and HIL Engineer position will also collaborate in cross functional teams to help improve the quality and robustness of the control software product.
