Summary:
The Future Wireless North America (FWNA) group within InterDigital's Research and Innovation (R&I) organization is responsible for leading InterDigital's North American next generation wireless research projects. Our charter is to identify future technology needs, develop and learn from proof-of-concept prototypes, and innovate around a system focus. Today, our team is at the leading edge of 6G research.
InterDigital is seeking an experienced and highly motivated wireless engineer to design and prototype 6G technologies, in which intelligent networks self-optimize to deliver services to users and devices that are tailored to content, context, and connectivity. The selected candidate will design, simulate, and provide proof of concept for novel systems that InterDigital is creating to drive 6G research, including: Development of link and system simulation benches towards cutting-edge wireless technologies and system aspects to enable MIMO, radio links at higher frequency ranges, integrated RF sensing and communications, heterogeneous network deployments in licensed and unlicensed spectrum; detailed simulation tasks to support beyond 5G and 6G networks; support generation of technical reports, patents and disclosures, publications etc.
