Production Technician, GMP Grade Production (R&D)
As a member of the GMP-Grade production team the person in this position will have responsibility in performing fermentation, purification and formulation activities in a repeatable and consistent manner to meet the requirements of our customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Set-up, operation, and sanitization of Upstream and Downstream processing equipment at all scales
Manufacturing of media and solutions to support production staff
Operate, troubleshoot, and program production equipment
Assist Upstream and Downstream processing efforts in a manufacturing environment
Take in-process measurements and performing routine quantitative and qualitative biological and chemical analytical tests
Follow established manufacturing protocols using controlled documents while maintaining accurate records of all processes performed
Assist in the formulation of GMP grade products
Assist in the maintenance of the GMP Grade area
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Have proven bench skills and the ability to perform tasks carefully and consistently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Familiarity with GMP methods preferred
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
