Plant Manager (Engineering)

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager for our Nutek Disposables facility located in McElhattan, PA.
This position is responsible for leading a team to safely produce high quality products and focus on recruiting, training, and retaining. This position is also responsible for day to day operations and long-term strategies for growth. Will direct and implement short-term goals such as high efficiencies, low customer and consumer complaints, on-time deliveries, excellent safety records, cost control, gross margin management, and excellent human relations.
Primary responsibilities include:
Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
Follow necessary GMP and ISO compliance requirements and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
Manages the operations in line with business growth by ensuring the introduction of new equipment and systems that meet cost, quality, consumer, customer, safety, and security requirements.
Works with Human Resources to ensure training, team member development, and work systems enable all team members to maximize their contribution to business success and contribute to productivity efforts.
Manages subordinates in production, maintenance, process engineering and safety.
Manages subordinates indirectly in human resources, cost accounting, production planning, purchasing, project engineering, customer service, quality assurance, and information technology functions as they relate to production, quality, and warehousing.
Defines, develops, organizes, supervises, and coordinates plans for problem solving activities of the entire organization.
Successfully develop annual goals and objectives for strengthening operations, building revenues, and providing the leadership to support continuous improvement related to growth and advancement of the company.
Consults with sales and product development resources, particularly on new or improved products, to ensure customer and consumer requirements are met or exceeded.
Keeps Senior Management apprised of new product, business, and/or industry developments and trends.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in high speed consumer products manufacturing preferred.
Minimum of 7 years operations management experience.
ISO experience and MBA degree preferred.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced technical, business, and managerial skills.
Advanced human relations and interpersonal skills.
