Associate, Valuations (Finance)
Primary Function:
· Assign, monitor, and review Real Estate Appraisals from start to finish, ensuring that a top quality product is being completed and delivered to the client in a timely fashion and within cost guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
· Assign all incoming orders to vendors within 24 hours while maintaining a focus on Direct Cost, Customer SLA expectations and On Time percentage.
· Build and manage relationships with vendor partners through all means of communication to promote accountability, quality, and efficiency.
· Address all vendor inquiries from inbound/outbound calls, team inbox, and WIP (Works in Progress) status updates in a timely manner.
· Track status of orders through follow up on the daily WIP in order to ensure that consistent and streamlined progress is being made.
· Communicate professional, specific order updates to clients via Property Smart notes.
· Ensure that vendors understand and complete the full scope of assignment through review of engagement letters, customer SOPs and examination of any standard appraisal requirements (USPAP, GSE requirements, UAD, etc).
· Ensure that all documents and exhibits are provided to the vendor at order assignment and included with the final product upon delivery, if applicable.
· Detect quality of performance trends, AIR violations, marketability/value issues and other "red flags" that may arise in orders and proactively work to resolve.
· Counsel and coach vendors within your region to remediate concerns and alleviate future issues.
· Coordinate directly with team members and Team Lead to achieve daily Queue and WIP completion goals.
· During Review periods, maintain review standards of at least 7 appraisal reports per hour throughout the work day and a fault addendum rate of 5% or lower.
· Act as a leader for newer associates by promoting positivity, team work, and education.
