Performs various data entry functions including, but not limited to, transferring and updating data for serialized item management components utilizing the TAMMS-A electronic system or CHI records systems.
Records: Update and control specific aircraft documents. Control aircraft logbooks, forms, tags, and other required documents as directed by Quality.
Conduct oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values
Performs work safely and utilizes the appropriate technical data for the assigned task.
Monitors and supports continuous improvement activities by utilizing Lean and continuous improvement tools striving to identify and eliminate waste in all its forms in an effort to improve quality and safety, decrease lead time and reduce cost.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with TAMMS-A or military record systems
Candidates selected for this position will receive an offer of employment which is conditional upon satisfying all pre-employment requirements, including obtaining a common access card.
1 year general office experience preferred but not required
Electronic file maintenance and tracking experience preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel; ability to quickly learn new systems
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to present ideas, concepts and proposals within a wide range of audiences at all levels, both internal and external to the company
High attention to detail; ability to verify accuracy of data
Good time management skills – ability to maintain levels of productivity including backing-up other positions in the department
