Assistant Account Executive, Multicultural (Finance)
Edelman Multicultural team has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Account Executive (AAE).While the position is in our New York office, the team is working remotely and this role is open to qualified candidates in the U.S. This vital position will be assisting with implementing and monitoring projects for lifestyle accounts in the food and beverage and personal care spaces, ensuring all communications consider the perspectives of diverse audiences. Previous agency experience and experience supporting the development of corporate, brand, and crisis communications strategies is highly preferred.
The AAE will be part of a strong multi-disciplinary account team with room for growth opportunities, and must demonstrate a proactive eagerness to learn, be part of and contribute to a strong, high-performing team. This position is ideal for an individual looking for a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment to acquire skills to become a strong multicultural communications practitioner and client advisor.
This team supports Edelman's Brand practice, and is comprised of experts who take a bold, culture-fueled approach to help brands and businesses authentically earn cultural relevancy and trust with Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian Pacific Islander, Indigenous American and other emerging majority audiences. Our work is intersectional, engaging LGBTQIA+ communities, people with disabilities, and other historically excluded demographics.
