This position supports the HRfunction with a wide range of duties and is the primary HR representative forthe various Human Resources systems (Oracle, JDE, TimeTrac, ProWatch, etc.).The HR Assistant represents the HR Department as first point of contactanswering general inquiries and directing employees to the appropriate person.In addition, oversees office supplies for the entire plant.
Provides support forthe Plant Human Resources Department by ensuring smooth operation ofadministrative functions.
Enters employee data(pay, job title, etc) in multiple record-keeping systems.
Maintain all HR relatedfiles to ensure they are accurate, current and in legal compliance.
Maintain forms,correspondence, and other documents in HR Shared directory in organized manner.
Maintains currentcontent on RIDGID TV's, kiosks, HR Sharepoint, and (Plant) HR Intranet.
Assisting with new hireorientations and setting up new hires in HR systems.
Works closely with HRManager to ensure deadlines are met i.e. performance reviews, trainingcompliance, etc.
Conducts fitness centerorientations, collects payments, and maintains all pertinent record-keepingrelated to fitness center.
Perform on-going weekly, and monthly tasks to maintain HRsystem data and performs routine data audits by working closely with payrollfunction
Running and creating adhoc reports for management that also includes converting data into useful, easyto decipher information for management analysis.
Maintaining centralattendance log and reporting any anomalies to HR Manager.
This position is theback-up to the HR Generalist and may perform those duties as needed.
Support for United Waycampaign, employee relations events, plant luncheons, etc.
Other projects andduties as assigned.
