The Solutions Consultant for the Public Safety Group will have responsibility for supporting the company's sales goals by providing clients with integrated assessment and learning tools and learning solutions that offer better student performance. The Solutions Consultants, through professional sales techniques and good customer service, will maintain and develop quality relations with clients in colleges, universities, and training centers, private, state and local training academies and sell Jones & Bartlett's EMS, Paramedic and Fire Fighter training solutions. The Solutions Consultant will be responsible for working with PSG clients and may assist in pre-adoption selling and information on Navigate 2, digital assets, FISDAP, RECERT and other digital products. Solutions Consultants will work with clients to provide customized and advanced solutions through webinars, face-to-face training, on-site visits, email or other platforms. In addition, the Solutions Consultant will assist with internal training to our Field Sales and Customer Success Teams including but not limited to technical documentation, self-help documentation, video based training and or on-site training.
Responsibilities:
• The Solutions Consultant will identify and establish mutually beneficial relationships with clients that lead to hyper-revenue growth and long-term customer satisfaction as well as PSG goals.
• Sell learning solutions that include digital, assessment, and a variety of best in-class teaching and learning products, and work closely with the Director of PSG Sales and PSG Sales Managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with agreements for purchases and product delivery.
• The Solutions Consultant will also work with the Sales Enablement Manager on training materials and documentation for internal and external teams and customers.
• Accurately represent and demonstrate all Jones & Bartlett's digital media products, service offerings and new technologies for training fire fighters and EMS professionals.
• Travel as needed to visit with clients at their place of business or college campus, present to customers via telephone conversations, web-enabled software, and electronic correspondence as frequently as necessary to surpass sales goals.
• Work with internal teams to develop self-help documentation, technical documentation and white papers, analysis as well as internal and external training processes.
Required Candidate Experience & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals and meet deadlines as well as apply technical skills to role.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and presentation skills.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Past success driving change by persuasively presenting one-on-one and to large groups.
• Candidates for the Solutions Consultant position are required to have a valid driver's license and be able to maintain business expense submissions for reimbursement. A background check, including credit history, will be performed on finalist candidates.
