Recycling/Materials Handler $14.00hr
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: May include any or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Safely execute all activities with the proper packaging, labeling, and loading of biohazardous waste.
Able to operate equipment based on site requirements
Responds to material handling needs in association with solid waste and recycling duties on-site and remote locations.
Comply with all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in every waste handling area as required.
Ensure that all medical waste is properly disposed of, where applicable.
Verify that all logs (Chem Clav, Weights & Temperatures, Spores testing, etc.) are complete, accurate and adequately documented.
Complete proper documentation, mandatory signatures and documentation for destruction
Clear and dispose of recycling material in various locations
Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
Adheres to communication standards assigned by site.
Most sites require a valid driver's license, forklift, and pallet jack experience.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions: to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to learn basic principles and techniques. Ability to understand different types of recyclable materials, operating machinery/pallet jack in production areas.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Forklift operator is highly desirable.
