Manager, Operations Non-RTT (Project Management)



Responsible for the supervision and coordination of the day-to-day operations and functions at the CARTI facilities.

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees the daily operations of assigned facilities.Upholds CARTI Values and reports issues/violations to the appropriate leader.Works collaboratively with appropriate leaders concerning hiring, evaluations, counseling and termination.Assists in budget preparation, review, and expenditure approval for assigned location(s). Monitors, orders, and receives supplies for assigned location(s).Prepares purchase orders and check requests for verified supplies received at assigned location(s).Conducts monthly team meetings and communicates with all team members in assigned location(s).Participates as needed in Quality and clinic committees ensuring safety, efficiency and process improvement.Maintains an understanding of all job positions within the clinic for problem resolving and assisting as needed.Updates policies as needed, working closely with leadership to ensure coordination of policies and forwards to all pertinent team members. Assures all policies and procedures are followed and understood by team members.Monitors systems, processes, problems within the location(s) and initiates improvements, as necessary.Orients new team members to their location.Collaborates with leaders to communicate and distribute new or revised information to team members.Works in collaboration with leaders to resolve problems between CARTI personnel.Coordinates the examination and reporting of patient, visitor, and team member incidents or accidents.Represent CARTI as a liaison to the hospital or other facilities/business on a routine basis or problem-solving.Reports and assures response from proper personnel for facility problems or needs.Works in collaboration with Facilities Department for coordinating ongoing regulatory building inspections (i.e. Quarterly fire sprinkler inspections and backflow prevention for domestic water and lawn sprinkler systems, annual inspection/testing of fire extinguishers).

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position may require additional hours outside the normal 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday work schedule, and occasional travel throughout the assigned region.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for the clinical operations supervision of the facility.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE and REGISTRATION:
Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.Current valid Arkansas driver's license.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare clinic operations, including responsibility for administrative oversight, staff supervision, and/or facility coordination.

Ability to handle high patient volumes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and extremely detail oriented.

Excellent computer and other basic office equipment skills.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Must interact and communicate both verbally and in written form.Must interact and exchange information regarding patients with physicians and other departmental personnel, and outside agencies on a frequent basis while respecting the confidentiality of patient information.Ability to use tact and diplomacy in making recommendations, reporting errors or problems, securing information or discussing patient treatments when dealing with physicians and clinical teams on a frequent basis.

The employee regularly is required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.The employee frequently performs moderate lifting of patients, machine accessories and patient devices/equipment.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
