The Manager, Financial Communications will execute coordinated financial and shareholder communications strategies for key company priorities to shape partner perceptions.
In this role, you'll develop communication plans, build content and partner with cross-functional colleagues in a global, matrixed organization. You'll provide counsel to midlevel leaders and efficiently deliver high-quality communications.
• Collaborate in executing Cargill's global financial communications, including research and analysis, writing and editing, and creation of reports and publications. • Support senior and mid-level leaders in achieving business outcomes, including preparing presentations for multiple stakeholder groups • Collaborate in planning and carrying out shareholder meetings • Manage company's annual report process, including theme development, research, storytelling, image selection, supervision of production, online posting and marketing • Maintain financial content for Cargill website, intranet and channels, collaborating with digital and social media colleagues • Collaborate in continually enhancing our communications approach
Bachelor's degree in communications, business or related field
Minimum four years of essential communications or related experience
Excellent written and oral communications skill
May require travel up to 5%.
Financial communications experience
Ability to network within a large organization to collect and synthesize information, and manage approval processes
Good understanding of current events, and desire to develop a deep understanding of industries and markets
Ability to write clear and compelling narratives, with accuracy and precision
Apply critical thinking skills to planning and execution
