The Electronic Health Records (EHR) Specialist serves as the primary agency contact to provide day-to-day helpdesk support to the end users of the Welligent EHR system. This position is also responsible for maintaining ongoing operations by coordinating/collaborating with EHR software vendor to review and analyze software upgrades, enhancements, and modifications to system; attends vendor trainings; troubleshoot system software problems and submits vendor trouble tickets when necessary. Working knowledge of associated Health Information Technologies (HIT), including Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), SAP Crystal Reports software, HTML coding, Microsoft SQ, or report design/writing is preferred but not required. B.A. Degree or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides proficiency in the duties and responsibilities listed above.Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems and other Health Information Technology.A minimum of one (1) year experience working in an Electronic Health Records Helpdesk environment, or two (2) years as a super user'.Demonstrated computer proficiency especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).Demonstrated understanding of clinical workflows within an EHR.Excellent organizational, detail-oriented task-management, creativity, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment to meet deadlines.Demonstrated ability to work independently and with professionalism and confidentiality.Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Demonstrated ability to interface and work well with all levels of management and staff, while maintaining confidentiality.Demonstrated ability to exhibit a passion for cultural exchange, handling communication barriers and cultural expectations professionally and with empathy.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and good judgement.Relationship builder with the ability to work with all levels of the Agency.Valid CA Drivers License or the ability to obtain one within 10 days after the date of hire and good driving record.
