NP/PA - Cardiothoracic Surgery ICU (CT Surgery) - University Hospital (Healthcare)
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
Education:
Minimum –
If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program
If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum –
If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND Active board certification as a NP in Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Adult.
If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND Active PA board certification.
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
Physical Requirements:
Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Work Schedule:
100% FTE Rotating Schedule. The Cardiac surgery service will be covered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by a group of 11 APPs. Holiday coverage will be on a rotating basis.
