The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) at Fort Detrick, Maryland conducts basic and applied research to develop products, information, procedures, strategies, and training programs, and provides for medical defense against biological threats and naturally occurring infectious diseases of military significance that require biocontainment.
The Information Management Division purpose is to enable the research vision of USAMRIID with first-class computer and communication services. This is accomplished by providing IM/IT management, strategic planning, IM/IT infrastructure, software application development and sustainment, communication, network, information assurance compliance and Help Desk services.
We are seeking an experienced Information Assurance Engineer work with the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), to aid in the mission to provide Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) resources for rapid, accurate, and secure acquisition, storage, retrieval, and transfer of information.
