Security Portfolio Delivery Lead (Finance)

The Security Portfolio Delivery Lead plays a critical role in supporting the Global Information Security (GIS) team by providing expertise in project management, financial oversight, and project governance across multiple departments. This position requires a proactive individual with exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills to manage projects, oversee budgets, and ensure governance of project deliverables. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and is proficient in data analysis tools and project management software.

This is a full time onsite role in Racine, WI.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management Support: Collaborate with the GIS leadership team to enhance project management processes across a portfolio of initiatives, including:

  • Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures, identifying tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinating with project managers to track project progress, manage issue logs, and resolve action items.
  • Scheduling and facilitating project meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Provide hands-on support to project managers across departments, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.

  • Financial Management and Budget Oversight: Oversee financial activities for GIS projects, including:
    • Forecasting current and future project costs and resources needs to support strategic planning.
    • Managing and reporting project budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
    • Supporting the development of processes to track and monitor portfolio costs and financial performance.
    • Assisting in the preparation of financial accruals and ensuring proper financial documentation is completed.
    • Facilitate procurement activities, such as purchase order creation, and invoice approvals, to support project execution.

  • Governance of Project Deliverables: Establish and enforce governance frameworks to ensure security project deliverables throughout the organization meet GIS standards and organizational requirements, including:
    • Monitoring compliance with established standards across multiple departments and teams.
    • Conducting regular audits and assessments to identify gaps or non-compliance in project deliverables.
    • Providing guidance and training to cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to governance protocols.
    • Report governance metrics, compliance status, and project performance to senior management for informed decision-making.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant military experience may be considered).
  • 5+years of experience in project management, financial analysis, or governance roles.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification required or obtain within a year of filling the position
  • 5+ years of strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and analyze cost data effectively.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands on experience managing financials within SAP.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a global enterprise environment managing projects or budgets.
  • 5+ years' expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall; certification a plus).
  • 5+ years having proficiency with the O365 suite of tools (e.g., Excel, Teams, Word).
  • Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar project management software.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new information and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, "can-do" attitude and the ability to work with globally dispersed teams.
  • Experience leading projects or work streams and collaborating across departments.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while supporting team objectives.
  • Experience implementing or overseeing governance frameworks in a project or operational context
