Accountant (Finance)
Position Description
o posting and reconciling, and timely submission of payroll on a bi-weekly basis to an external payroll provider. In
o addition, the Accountant will process accounts payable invoices for payment in Costpoint.
o Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
o Review and process employee timesheets
o Compute and reconcile labor
o Compute and reconcile leave accruals
o Process payroll transactions with third party payroll provider
o Coordinating solutions to employee issues concerning financial benefits and payroll deductions
The ideal candidate will have an Accounting degree, relevant Payroll and General Accounting, Costpoint, Deltek T&E, and COGNOS experience; exceptional Excel capabilities, and a strong understanding of government contracting.
