Senior Analyst –Consumer Strategy & Insights (Beer) (Biotech)

Position Summary
As part of the Consumer Strategy & Insights team, you will play a critical role in leveraging strategic consumer insights to drive our Beer brands' priorities, growth, and long-range plans. You will aid in developing and delivering on key learning agendas to address the dynamic needs of the Beer division and brand teams. You will work cross-functionally to embed consumer insights into day-to-day decision making and tackle big challenges.
In this role, your work will influence Beer brand marketing teams, while collaborating closely with the rest of the Strategy & Insights team, the centralized Insights & Analytics CoE, and third party vendors to oversee the execution of research and analysis that provokes action.
Responsibilities
Support the creation and execution of consumer learning agendas that address the dynamic needs of our Beer brands and drive consumer-led brand strategies. Learning plans may include consumer research to influence:
Brand Foundation (consumer growth opportunities, brand health/equity perceptions, brand architecture, positioning, packaging, etc)
Communication & Creative Strategy (assessment of campaign territories, claims & messaging, TV and digital ad copy testing, in-market ad awareness, etc)
Line Extension Development (concept, naming, liquid testing, etc)
Post-Launch Innovation Assessment (trial & repeat, incrementality, new trier surveys, etc)
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Strategy & Insights teammates to clearly define business challenges and research objectives, ensuring alignment between division and brand priorities.
Effectively translate research and analysis into actionable insights for brands teams and the organization, distilling relevant information into implications that answer the ever-critical question: “So what?”
Execute research and analysis in an agile manner, flexing approach as needed based on the brand, timeline, risk level and managing external partners to deliver.
Be an indispensable partner to Brand teams by providing a strong, objective “voice of the consumer” built upon a holistic understanding of the brand and business challenges.
Collaborate closely across the broader Strategy, Insights, & Analytics and Growth teams to integrate various learnings into a holistic recommendations and develop best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
This role is multi-faceted and requires strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skill sets:
4+ years professional experience in Marketing Research, Consumer Insights, and/ or Strategy/Strategic Management consulting; work in CPG or beverage alcohol industries is a plus
Demonstrates a passion for understanding the consumer and their motivations in the beverage alcohol business.
Well-grounded in consumer research fundamentals and methodologies including both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
Experience in reporting and analyzing syndicated data sources such as IRI/Nielsen (POS & household panel data); Scarborough/MRI/Simmons/YouGov, Numerator, consumption trackers, etc
Expertise in translating results from analyses into insights and actionable recommendations.
Strategic thinker, flexible problem solver, natural curiosity, great listener.
Excellent communication skills; very articulate, strong public speaking and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong cross functional skills.
Team player with ability to work and lead with others, internally and externally.
Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize, and successfully manage projects.
