Digital Product Manager (Biotech)

The newly established Digital Commerce organization at Lonza's Capsule & Health Ingredients (CHI) is driving a digital transformation across the division and is seeking talented, entrepreneurial thinkers to join the team.

The Digital Product Manager is responsible for the rebuilding of the CHI website and establishment of e-commerce services. This role will be a cross-functional partner for marketing, sales, supply chain, IT, and more. Successful candidates must be able to work at a strategic level, developing innovative solutions to further CHI's digital transformation, and at a tactical level, analyzing data, solving problems, and leading collaborative teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the re-build and integration of CHI's website. As part of an omni-channel strategy, grow the CHI website's customer experience.
    • Lead external vendors and internal stakeholders in the development of content, UX, and integrations with marketing automation and Lonza systems
    • Support CHI's global footprint, enabling the website to operate in multiple languages and countries
  • Act as digital product owner for CHI's e-commerce services. In alignment with CHI's go-to-market strategies, lead the development of e-commerce services.
    • Lead the development of services including online ordering, order status, documentation sharing, and more
    • Manage the e-commerce product roadmap, using data and analytics to develop business cases and align with stakeholders
    • Identify and execute strategic optimizations to increase performance, realize efficiencies, and improve the digital customer experience

Key requirements:

  • Bachelors' degree in Business, IT, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience in digital marketing, IT, advertising, or related area
  • Experience in B2B e-commerce
  • Demonstrated experience in managing digital projects
  • Experience in a global organization in Marketing, Business or IT.
  • Understanding of marketing automation platforms (e.g. Marketo) and digital marketing analytics
  • Entrepreneurial thinker and team player
  • Life Sciences/Biotech experience preferred but not required
