Latin American Sales Program Analyst (Sales)

Purpose:
The Latin American Sales Program Analyst will be responsible for the development and implementation of procedures, policies, and support programs for the Latin Americas sales team. This position is responsible for the processing of orders, programs and information between customers, suppliers, the sales team and various work groups within MTD.
Essential Duties:
Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Implement and/or enhance current operational procedures to improve efficiencies, including order entry, shipping, customer paperwork, reporting (cognos/BI), customer (email and SalesForce) and service inquiries
Perform all aspects of product marketing changes and development, including creating product specification sheets, sales literature, product packaging, coordinating compliance including NOM and training materials
Coordinate China sourcing for effective on time production, shipments and necessary shipping documents
Develop marketing materials, customer newsletters/videos and retail product onboarding forms
Ongoing pricing analysis
Weekly demand forecast and production analysis and review
Provide inside sales support, customer follow up, product substitutions
Conduct geographic analysis of market data to identify patterns and trends and translate findings into actionable strategy
Cross trains and assists team members, and is also open to learning new areas as business needs evolve
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Interpersonal and communication skills – able to communicate effectively with internal team members and customers
Basic MTD product knowledge preferred
Advanced knowledge of AS400 and Sales Force
Strong analytical skills
Displays a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Detail oriented and possess the ability to maintain a high level of process accuracy
High degree of creativity, flexibility and resourcefulness in order to provide win-win resolutions
Demonstrates the capacity to adjust to changing demands to prioritize among multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
Must be proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (mainly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
Experience/Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese
5+ years' experience preferred in Latin American Product Marketing or Sales Support
Work Environment:
Fast paced, team centered and customer responsive.
The position is office based at the Corporate Campus in Valley City, OH.
A desire for further education and future advancement is encouraged.
Travel:
Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed
