What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?

Regional Program Director (RN) is responsible for providing nurse aide training, QMA training and assist with clinical education as needed.

  • Conducts nurse aide training both globally and facility specific.
  • Conducts QMA training as needed and approved by VP of Clinical Operations.
  • Assists post survey property in-services as requested to ensure Plan of Correction follow up is maintained and reports status of property compliance to the VP of Clinical Operations.
  • Participates and assists in departmental studies and projects as needed.
  • Reviews resident care, environment, and service standards as needed for compliance with current applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • Licensure as Registered Nurse in Indiana
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of three years clinical experience in Geriatric or Gerontology coupled with a minimum of one-year experience as a Departmental Manager of a Long-Term Care Facility
  • Meet the requirements of Program Director and/or Clinical Instructor through ISDH
  • Prior consulting experience preferable
