PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for transporting parts/material safely as required supporting Operation/Production efforts. This position includes all aspects of material handling including moving materials with equipment or by hand, banding, wrapping, pushing, pulling, counting, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Puts away incoming freight.
2. Replenishes orders as necessary to support operation.
3. Supplies cardboard boxes and bags for pick/pack department and/or keep corrugate stocked.
4. Transports finished good to be shipped.
5. Unloads trucks at the receiving area as needed.
6. Stores boxes and product in warehouse.
7. Performs necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment.
8. Maintaining safe actions while operating equipment
9. Must meet department quality, attendance and productivity requirements.
10. Must perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by Company, federal, state, and local provisions.
11. Assist and train new hires

This is a second shift position, 330p-2a , Monday through Thursday, with overtime as needed. $15.75 per hour, plus shift differential, with benefits and bi-annual increases.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
This position requires previous forklift experience. Must have ability to obtain Emerson - Greenlee forklift certification, including the tri-loader. Ability to use the Hand (RF) scanner effectively and efficiently. SAP knowledge is a plus. High school diploma or GED a plus.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Performs varied tasks requiring independent knowledge, its application to a variety of situations, as well as exercise of independent judgment in addition to procedures and instructions provided.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position may exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to grasp, finger, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Incumbent will be required to perform dynamic activities including reaching and stretching, as well as, frequent bending and twisting of the torso.
