J1 Housekeeper (Finance)
Acts as host or hostess to in-house guests by encouraging comments, fulfilling guest's needs, and answering guest's questions.
Keeps guest rooms pleasant, safe, and comfortable by checking for proper temperature control, closing and locking all doors and windows, closing fireplace flues, and promptly alerting maintenance of building issues.
Returns all lost and found items, properly tagged, according to the established protocols and procedures.
Assists in maintaining all specified linen/closets rooms neat and orderly by putting away all supplies and linen at the end of scheduled shift
Pushing/pulling laundry carts for stock of linen closets
Communicates with supervisors and inspectors by reporting each unit that has been completely cleaned and is ready for inspection.
Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays

Qualifications/Knowledge:
Must be highly detail-oriented

Fluent in verbal and written English, other language skills preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Work Environment:
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holiday and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.
Physical Demands of Position Include:
Frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50-75 pounds. Standing and walking 40-50% of the time. Frequent reaching and bending. This position may require individuals to be out in winter conditions 5-10% of the time.
Background Check:
Positions dealing with children, of safety-sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check. Employment is contingent upon a favorable background check.
