Product Engineer (Finance)
Support SMA external and internal customers of the assigned product with technical and cost information.
Drive the resolution of Failure Analysis, Root Cause, and Corrective Actions for product failures.
Author technical reports relating Failure Analysis, Root Cause and Corrective Actions for the assigned product.
Develop and control new series features, options and accessories for the assigned product.
Control, manage and develop all technical standards, resources and information related to the assigned product.
Support Quality and Manufacturing efforts to resolve order fulfillment problems and meet shipment commitments.
Support Marketing and R&D with technical expertise and verification of technical information.
Serves as the interface with parent company in Japan on electrical products and issues.
Champion assigned product training for internal and external customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Preferred) with at least five (5) years practical experience. Power transmission industry experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of PT components, design and manufacture is required.
Knowledge of other rotating equipment, such as gearboxes, Large Industrial, a plus.
Experience in mechanical product engineering, configuration, and overall product management.
