JOB TITLE: Director – Fleet Procurement & Systems
JOB SUMMARY:
As Director – Fleet Procurement & Systems, responsibilities include establishing strong controlled purchasing and service procurement processes with a focus on supporting the needs of the business. This position will be responsible for leading the development of purchasing strategies, maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their procurement needs. This role will also be responsible for identifying and assessing new vendors to support the needs of the business, as well as managing periodic vendor re-evaluation and pricing adjustments. This role is also responsible for reviewing indirect spend and driving initiatives to cut cost.
Key Areas of immediate focus from a procurement standpoint would include
Implement Fleet Capital strategy by developing procurement plan accordingly.
Implement standardized Fuel program and required controls to minimize cost and maximize rebates
Review Broom vendors and develop strategy to standardize parts and minimize cost
Review and standardize Parts, Tire, Oil and Battery programs
Additionally, responsibilities will include setting up systems to streamline Fleet reporting functions related to Fleet AP, Maintenance, DOT Compliance, Procurement, Registration etc.

Our power sweeping solutions include sweeping parking lots, streets, and highways as well as construction, industrial, and special event sites. Our fleet uses the latest mechanical broom sweepers and regenerative air vacuum trucks. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
•Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
•Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
•Supporting the preparation of budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
•Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards, specifications and delivery timeline
•Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
•Managing indirect spend.
•Responsible for implementing and maintaining travel and entertainment spending platform.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Able to work cohesively with multiple departments and teams.
•Strong computer skills, including advanced capability in Microsoft Excel and other data manipulation tools.
•Advanced analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
•Able to work independently with a high level of accuracy.
•Experience with multiple ERP systems.
Preferred
•Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent.
