Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Medical Intensive Care Unit (Finance)



Work Schedule :

100%, day/evening/night. Sunday - Saturday working 10 - 12 hour shifts between 7a - 7p or 7p - 7a. Rotating weekends and holidays. You will work at University Hospital and Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to:

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to critically ill medical patients in an intensive care unit setting.
  • Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients/families with acute, chronic and/or potential health problems.

Education :

Minimum -

If Nurse Practitioner:

Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant:

Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum -

If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin ANDactive board certification as a NP in Family, Pediatric Acute Care, or Pediatric Primary Care.

If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin ANDactive PA board certification.

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire ANDCPR certification and advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP).
