Job Overview
The Senior Psychometrician works with cross-functional teams to design and develop assessments, software, and learning products used to educate, remediate, and certify students and professionals. Applicable industries include, but are not necessarily limited to nursing education, nurse practitioner certification preparation, allied health, and health and fitness. Team members in this role lead discussions in product design requirements that help define the development process and support required product claims.
They conduct psychometric analyses and research in support of products with the goal of ensuring the validity of scores and product claims provided to clients and consult with business partners on a regular basis to inform product development direction. These team members inform product development design including, but not limited to, equating designs, guiding learning product instructional design, simulation scenario scoring, and development of complex item types.
