This Tax Technology Manager will support and drive operational efficiency within the Tax operation by leveraging processes and technology as well as other aspects of the tax function, including global direct and indirect tax processes. This role will drive the integration of technology and automation across processes within Corporate tax while actively partnering with other finance and operation functions and the Company's third-party outsourcing provider. The role will also monitor federal, state and international tax legislation to ensure systems and processes comply with tax law changes and will develop and implement new processes to address gaps.
Evaluate tax operational processes, identify opportunities for automation and technology solutions and maintain tax process documentation
Lead daily aspects of integration and implementation of technology and data management solutions across the Corporate tax function
Collaborate with finance and operations functions to align data flow requirements to optimize efficiency in meeting global reporting and compliance obligations
Perform research and analysis of tax law related to federal, state, and international matters
Develop, improve and maintain systems that enhance visibility to trends impacting the Company's global cash taxes and effective tax rate
Develop and maintain tax models to support tax credits and incentives, including research and development
Support tax audits by managing, coordinating, and preparing responses to tax authorities
Establish and execute project plans for tax functions related to acquisitions, divestures, and legal entity restructuring
Other tax related activities as directed by management including supporting tax compliance and tax accounting functions and overseeing continuous improvements to related software utilization

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
8 years of tax related experience with progressive responsibility (Large multi-national, multi-jurisdictional experience within a corporate structure or comparative public accounting experience)
Comprehensive knowledge of tax and tax accounting principles and the ability to apply these principles to technology solutions
Master's degree or CPA preferred
Experience with OneSource tax solutions, RIA Checkpoint and with ERP systems, preferably Oracle
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
Strong project management skills and ability to work with cross functional teams throughout the organization
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
Self-motivated, proactive, able to work well independently and in a team
