Associate Manager, Benefits Technology Platform Relationships (Finance)

Prudential Financial is seeking an Associate Manager, Platform Relationships to support third-party Benefits Technology ("Ben Tech") platform relationships within the Group Insurance space. Prudential's Ben Tech strategy is integral to success of its Distribution team and drives customer satisfaction and market differentiation.

As Associate Manager, Platform Relationships, you will be responsible for supporting the team in many of its day-to-day functions, including, but not limited to: inbox management, training development and delivery, helping craft communications and PowerPoint presentations, reporting, SharePoint content management and invoice auditing. There will also be occasional opportunities for finalist meeting support and attendance, conference attendance, partnership stewardship/quarterly business review support, , and more.

This position is an individual contributor that will report directly to the Vice President, Platform Partnerships & Solution Consulting. This role may also work in a matrix-management fashion with other Directors and Vice Presidents on the team as needed.

What you can expect:

  • Manages platform team inbox and calendar to ensure timely response for internal inquiries and to coordinate regular cross-departmental meetings.
  • Helps perform regular audits of partnership invoices.
  • Documents partnership contract deliverables and renewals, to ensure contract renegotiations begin in a timely manner and that contractual obligations are met.
  • Creates training materials for the organization and may deliver content to Group Insurance business partners.
  • Maintains the team SharePoint site content, ensuring contents are accurate and refreshed on a regular basis.
  • Supports Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents in developing content for regular partnership stewardship/business reviews.
  • Ensures that our RFP responses are kept up to date.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in group insurance, employee benefits technology, or a related field. A focus on technology, data, systems, and/or a technical degree is preferred and will be differentiating.
  • Good understanding of data exchange protocols, including API, SSO, EDI, and their application in insurance and benefits systems.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working cross-functionally, preferably with Distribution, Product, Operations, and IT teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field required or equivalent experience. Technical degrees are strongly preferred.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications in insurance, technology, or project management is a plus.

It'd be a plus if you had:

  • Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role within a group insurance carrier or benefits technology provider.

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $83,500.00 to $129,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
