Goldener Hirsch Food Expeditor - Winter 2020-21 (Project Management)



PURPOSE OF POSITION: Organize all food items prepared by front line, to be served in a timely manner.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent organizational skillsModerate lifting requirementsExcellent communication skillsPrevious restaurant experience preferred

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up as assigned by Sous ChefDistribute pagers to servers.Organize all food items prepared by front line, to be served in a timely mannerProperly garnish all soup and food itemsWipe plates free of drips and fingerprints before servingRecognize all food items and componentsVerify that all items have been prepared properlyKeep track of taster menu flow which includes six coursesMust have strong communication skills to work closely with Sous Chef, Runner and ServersMaintain clean work area, wiping plate covers and work stationStock plates from warmer to front line as necessary for servicePerform all duties assigned by Sous Chef or ManagerBreak down Line and wipe down stainlessCollect all pagers and recharge
