Sr. IT Program Manager (Finance)
JOB DUTIES:
Sr. IT Program Manager for Medtronic, Inc., at its facility in Mounds View, MN. Establish and maintain appropriate governance arrangements for the program that ensures the successful implementation of the outcomes derived through the change. Directs initiatives to identify, prioritize, define, and implement improvements to the Global Commercialization Process to achieve best-in-class status. Establish and maintain EPMO standards in line with Business Owner and Project Sponsor needs. Manage IT strategic initiatives; projects and programs of more than $5M budget to include full project lifecycle; lead all program communications and deliverables to include program and project charters, issue and risk management, implementation schedule and resource plans; manages and organizes the work of programmers, technologists and technicians; lead program and project execution within regulatory compliance methodologies to include SOX, AQMS, HIPAA and FDA regulations; design and lead the execution of the product and program roadmap, including scope management, cost benefit justification, schedule implications and resource capacity management; lead diverse and cross functional project teams, including coaching, delegating, providing feedback and resolving conflicts and problems for both onshore and offshore resources; analyze and communicate program status using standard and specific project management analysis techniques for budget, scope, and quality and schedule variance; lead delivery of programs and projects using SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, ITIL and other methodologies as necessary; lead and coach the use of project management and agile tools to include MS Project Server, JIRA, Version One, Clarity and Primavera; lead program and project management, working in the underlying technologies and platforms to include cloud-based solutions, web-based development, SAP implementations, data warehousing/data analytics and e- Commerce or digital platforms; lead and drive; and utilize knowledge gained through PMP and Scrum Master certifications.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science and five (5) post-bachelor's progressive experience in all of the following: Managing SAP Implementations & project involving SAP implementation, roll outs, upgrades and Data migration; Managing IT components of Merger and acquisitions; Managing projects and programs with $5M plus budget for onshore and offshore groups; Leading and managing global framework and tools, governance, training, and strategic vendor management; Quality management; managing stakeholders and aligning process requirements, managing triple constraints (budget, scope, and schedule) on a project; SDLC, Waterfall, Agile and ITIL methodologies; Regulatory compliance methodologies; Utilizing lean and six sigma for continuous improvement processes. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience, the employer will accept seven (7) years of experience in the above listed skills. Must possess the following certifications: Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) and Scrum Master Certification.
