PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The radiologic technologist student performs a variety of duties to maintain an orderly, clean, and safe environment, and to assure the efficient flow of patients through the exam room. The Radiologic Technologist Student participates in providing culturally based, age specific care to patients and support for the Licensed Technologist. All direct patient care is under the direct supervision and is delegated by the licensed Radiologic technologist or Licensed Special Procedure Technologist. For radiologic technologist student that has GXMO license, they can perform radiographs per the ODH rules.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Education: Must be a student currently enrolled in a Radiologic Technology program that is certified by the JCERT or a graduate of a Radiologic Technology program pending examination and licensing as a radiographer.
License and Certifications: BLS. Optional: GXMO license from ODH.
