This position is responsible for assisting in effective service technician recruitment strategy for Arbon Equipment Corporation, a Rite-Hite Company. This position will have a large emphasis towards the development and implementation of recruitment strategy for Arbon Equipment service needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, and skills, to recruit qualified Field Service Technicians. Writes job descriptions and/or reviews and edits job descriptions written by others. Manages Descriptions Now functionality and ensures accuracy of job descriptions for assigned business units.
Develops and executes recruitment programs and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.
Assist and advise managers in development of job requisitions and justifications.
Develops and coordinates internal job posting program and writes job postings.
Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified technician candidates.
Writes and places job advertising in various media.
Utilizes internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
Initiates contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings.
Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in the organization, managing the subsequent recruitment process to ensure timely execution and hiring of suitable candidates.
Performs or coordinates the performance of required testing and reference and background checks on applicants.
The incumbent will assist with the communication and implementation of Human Resources policies and programs. This responsibility will include assisting employees
Assist in the recruitment and retention of quality personnel.
Promote positive employee relations through effective communications and interaction.
Assist in the effective recruitment for the Apprentice Program.
Relationship building with technical colleges.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in technical recruiting is preferred.
