The Senior Director - Product Supply, Operations & Manufacturing will be responsible for providing leadership for the identification and implementation of business imperatives and delivery of improved business results to achieve through strategic initiatives in operations, packaging engineering, contract manufacturing and end to end supply chain.
This position reports to the VP of Operations Product Supply and is accountable for the development and execution of the global product supply plans to identify transformational supply chain projects and initiatives. The position is expected to influence and drive results across all operations and supply chain organizations around the globe. This position will also work closely with Marketing, R&D and Procurement partners to achieve the identified goals.
Work with Contract Manufacturing teams to achieve the global target
Development and execution of a comprehensive strategic supply plan
Leverage LEAN Continuous Improvement tools to establish a culture of continuous improvement
Provide leadership to ensure the seamless coordination, execution and integration and establishment of a LEAN operating system by driving synergies (processes, resources, best practices) across regions and facilities
Drive completion of identified business transformation initiatives by developing clear change strategies, dimensioning business impact/benefits, and overseeing implementation/execution
Communicate fully with business executives, staff team members, and plant personnel to ensure successful change management; provide routine and comprehensive updates on plan status with clear line of sight to cost and delivered benefits
Provide leadership to ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains the best people while fostering an environment that motivates a diverse team to fully use its capabilities to achieve desired business results
Streamline operating systems to eliminate redundancy, create scale and enable synergies from staff to the plant floor.
Provide leadership to fully leverage external, and internal, benchmarking and standardization within the organization.
Provide leadership to fully leverage standard practices to minimize waste and enable continuous improvement to drive improved business results, e.g., visual management and value stream mapping
Provide leadership and coordination of activities among the business teams, sector management, staff functional groups, and manufacturing teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
Provide strategic leadership over multiple sourcing/contract manufacturing commercialization projects and cost reduction activities to ensure results are delivered within prescribed timelines and meet agreed upon scope commitments.
Continually improve existing business processes to enhance project execution success, speed-to-market initiatives, quality, and customer-service to meet identified objectives.
Commercialize projects that meet objectives in safety, cost, quality, productivity, customer service, and corporate ethics.
Manage capital projects, in accordance with CFI's, to ensure maintenance of assets, provide required capacity, and ensure ROIC objectives are achieved.
Ensure actions are consistent with regulatory standards and corporate policy.
Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferential- MBA or any other relevant secondary degree
Previous successful high level management experience
Proven Leadership Skills, authority, vision and influence across teams over which they incumbent has no direct accountability
Extensive and broad managerial experience in various functions supply chain functions with demonstrated results and strength in leadership Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
Close working relationships with Business Teams.
Generally 10+ years' experience in increasingly broader technical or operational roles with demonstrated track record of achievement and growth in leadership.
Experience across multiple functions, plant and cross sector experience
Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and products.
Cross-functional knowledge throughout the supply chain (manufacturing, distribution, planning, sourcing and supply, transportation) including demonstrated knowledge of financial metrics and drivers
Experience in senior plant operations management
Desired but not a requirement for consideration- Bilingual professional proficiency in either Spanish or Chinese
