What You'll Get to Do
The Material Handler 1 is focused on inspecting, labeling, transporting, and packing glass, and reports to the Fabrication Supervisor.
This role is perfect for an individual who is safety-conscious and detail-oriented with a focus on quality, and is adaptable with a strong team mindset. A vital member of the Fabrication Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
- Safely lift, move, and load/unload glass (up to 75 lbs)
- Inspect glass for defects and measure for accuracy
- Operate and monitor equipment using computer systems
- Label, pack, and palletize finished products
- Follow work orders and safety procedures
What We Are Looking For
- Basic computer and measurement skills (fractions/decimals)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple roles
