PLL Circuit Design Engineer (Finance)
Design PLL circuits per specified requirements, and direct mask designers to implement circuits using industry standard Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and technologies
The ideal candidate will have strong PLL design skills and experience in a variety of areas (PFD's, charge pumps, loop filters, VCO's, LDO's, high speed frequency dividers, loop stability analysis, phase noise analysis and mitigation, etc.) using state of the art deep sub-micron technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience
Strong analog and digital circuit design skills applicable to PLL's
Extensive experience with Cadence EDA (Composer/Virtuoso)
Extensive experience with Spectre, SpectreRF, PSS, PNoise
Experience with feedback system analysis using tools such as Matlab or Python
Experience with CALIBRE LVS/DRC preferred
Strong oral/written communication skills; a positive, open-minded attitude; as well as an ability to work in a team environment or independently as required
