Production Supervisor - 2nd shift (Finance)
Manages the daily activities on the manufacturing floor. Direct and coordinate resources and associates to ensure that key metrics are achieved.
Ensures positive associate relations while continually developing ideal behaviors in team members to embody TIDI Products Core Values & Guiding Principles.
Perform quarterly performance reviews.
Enhance standardization, safety, accuracy, and efficiency of processes through regular reviews of work instructions and procedures.
Drives continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Safely achieves planned production output consistently.
Responsible for staffing in assigned area/s. This includes working cross-functionally with other departments to ensure resources are in place to meet customer demand.
Responsible for interviewing for those open positions within assigned area/s.
Utilizes manufacturing techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, 6-S...) to achieve planned performance in their department / shift.
Supervise and audit team members and self, to ensure that TIDI Products Core Values and Guiding Principles are present in daily activities.
Encourages (supports) associates to participate in continuous improvement activities.
Assures that all personnel are trained in accordance with policies.
Communicates information to associates in all departments on all shifts so production continues to flow smoothly and efficiently.
Ensures a safe work environment and performs incident investigations when necessary.
Work within, utilize, & modify Lean Management System/s to effectively drive growth oriented changes.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field; Engineering, Safety, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of safety practices.
Working knowledge of Lean methodologies.
Working knowledge of problem solving techniques.
Prior management and/or supervision experience.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience and responsibilities

Knowledge of all manufacturing methods and techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, 5-S and Supply Chain Mgt) and proven success in implementation

Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to peers, managers and subordinates
