About the Opportunity
Our Information Technology Solutions Delivery department has an immediate opening for a .NET Developer to support strategic business initiatives.
In your role as a .NET Developer, you will contribute to the development, testing, implementation, and review of complex solutions that include components including .NET based web applications, SQL Server databases, SQL Server Reporting Services, and ETL services.
What You Will Do:
Develop all or part of complex solutions, develops software from established requirements, plans and coordinates work with leads programmers to meet delivery commitments, creates prototypes and offers insight on the feasibility of system designs.
Implement complex software packages and deploys code in lower environments.
Actively participate in system/software integration processes to create viable solutions for improved business functions.
Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Preferred degree: Computer Science or Information Systems
Broad knowledge of programming tools, concepts, best practices, and principles is required. Candidate should have experience in C#, .Net MVC architecture, Razor syntax, Microsoft T-SQL including stored procedures, SQL Server, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS, and full stack Web development using .NET Framework.
Experience in DevOps will be a plus.
Preferred skills include AWS Cloud, .NET Core, SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI, Bootstrap framework, XML, HTML5, and TFS/Git, Linux, Bash scripting, Python.
Acute analytical ability and technical skill as well as the ability to provide innovative solutions to technical needs and business requirements.
Ability to exercise independent judgment in making moderately complex business decisions
Acute attention to detail with a high level of data integrity and accuracy.
Excellent oral and written communication, and ability to interact on required information and concepts with people at all levels of the organization.
Proficient ability to translate highly technical information into non-technical terms
Experience with different development methodologies including Agile, Kanban and Waterfall.
