Sr Measurement Tech - Delaware Basin Midstream (Manufacturing)
Job Summary
The Sr Measurement tech will be responsible for installation, data assurance, and maintenance of the equipment that measures and records product flows to and from the gathering pipeline systems in addition to check measurement on flows to market pipelines or other outlets such as trucking for all product streams – gas, oil, and water. Ensure all product validation, measurement problems / issues are addressed in a timely fashion to maintain the integrity of measurement accounting for Anadarko and all of its customers. Work environment is out-of-doors in facilities from small to large in ambient conditions including high wind, ambient heat and cold, and noise.
This position is located in Anadarko's Delaware Basin as a member of the Midstream Operations Support team with functional reporting out of our Kermit, Texas office.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' experience in measurement required.
Minimum 3 years' experience in oil and gas production operations preferred
Possess an understanding of gas, water, and oil measurement systems, and working knowledge of oil and gas operations.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of the use, monitoring and repair of various meters and totalizing equipment used in measuring and documentation of the flow of produced water, natural gas and crude oil products.
Demonstrable basic knowledge of GC sampling for measurement settlement tests utilizing stationary and portable gas chromatograph (including care and maintenance of stated equipment)
Demonstrable computer skills for measurement equipment setup and troubleshooting and a working knowledge of Word and Excel
Demonstrable working knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
Demonstrable mechanical aptitude and solid understanding of instruments, control, and electrical systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshooting of transmitters, transmitters, measurement devices and electronic flow data collection systems in accordance with industry/APC measurement standards. Work includes composite samplers, PD meters, moisture analyzers, oxygen analyzers and valve control. Order, receive and stock parts associated with metering equipment.
Operate and maintain stationary and/or portable gas chromatograph (GC)
Schedule, conduct, report and perform GC sampling for measurement settlement tests
Occasionally perform calculations for flow coefficients, gas volumes and orifice plate sizes
Collect electronic volume data as assigned / requested.
Installation, maintain, and troubleshoot communication systems.
Witness meter calibrations and settlement as assigned / requested.
Respond to call out requests and work irregular hours as needed for maintenance, relief and emergency situations.
Work in a safe manner adhering to all safety practices, procedures and policies. Report safety / environmental problems promptly. Maintain good housekeeping in all assigned locations.

Education
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Certifications/Licenses
Valid US driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required
Relocation
This position is not eligible for domestic relocation
Travel Requirements
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%
Work Schedule
This position will work a 5/2 - 40 hour schedule with occasional on-call & weekend coverage.
Candidate must live within 75 miles of Kermit, TX.
