Lift Operations Attendant (Finance)
Knows, understands, and follows the proper procedures to operate assigned lifts by using prescribed lift operating proceĀ¬dures.
Assists our guests as they load the lift and occasionally able to load children up to 50 pounds
Demonstrates working knowledge of the operation of main and auxiliary drives, service and emergency brakes, control circuits and telephones for all lifts to which (s)he may be assigned.
Able to ride chairlift unassisted and to ski or snowboard to lift station,
Knows how to contact the designated individuals for answers to questions regarding emergencies, maintenance or service.
Carries out required daily tasks such as snow maintenance/removal, maintenance of loading and/or unloading ramps, courteously dealing with guests, etc.
Maintains records such as daily log sheets, lift incident reports.
Follows all company procedures for mechanical failures, lift evacuation, adverse weather conditions or any other occurrence that may adversely affect the safety of the passengers or lift equipment.
Contacts the designated individuals for answers to questions regarding emergencies, maintenance, and service.
Follows all company policies set forth in the Employee Handbook and the Area Lift Operators Guide.
Personal Skills:
Writes clearly and legibly on message boards
Calls Lift Ops voicemail (ext. 2223 or 2224) by 7:30am or earlier if you are going to be absent
Gives supervisors 24-hours advance notice of planned absences
Gets approval from supervisors before swapping days off with a co-worker
Listens to directions from lift maintenance crew in order to better learn this position
Speaks clearly on the radio stating the number of the lift you are on -horseplay on the radio will be subject to disciplinary action
Speaks clearly, calmly and understandably to guests, even in emergency situations
Demonstrates excellence in guest services as measured by consistently displaying respect for internal and external guests and good conflict resolution skills.
Provides guests with accurate information on all services and facilities that TSV has to offer or knows how to direct them to someone who can assist them.
Maintains a clean and well-stocked sales area.
Participates with the team essential for the success of the Guest, Instructor, Snowsports School and Area.
Cooperates with all area employees and co-workers in the performance of duties.
Maintains good humor and cooperative attitude.
Performs other jobs and responsibilities as assigned.
