US02 Lonza Biologics Inc.
QC Microbiology Associate Director (Biotech)
Today, Lonza is a global leader in life sciences operating across three continents. While we work in science, there's no magic formula to how we do it. Our greatest scientific solution is talented people working together, devising ideas that help businesses to help people. In exchange, we let our people own their careers. Their ideas, big and small, genuinely improve the world. And that's the kind of work we want to be part of.
The QC Microbiology Associate Director will lead the Quality Control department to support monitoring of raw materials, clean rooms, clean utilities, microbiological identifications, in-process and final product samples. Oversee the Microbiology technical team with method qualification of microbial based assays and equipment from customers to Lonza, including troubleshooting, investigations, and technical oversight as needed. They will also define and continuously improve the site's environmental monitoring program and overarching cross functional microbial control initiatives in order to eliminate contaminations. Collaborate with global stakeholders to share best practices and enhance programs related to microbial methods and contamination control.
