Pneumatic Truck Driver (Manufacturing)
JOB DESCRIPTION
The incumbent will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of powdered cement and fly ash to internal and external customers. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the quality of the product during delivery. The incumbent will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections including being responsible for thorough cleaning of the truck daily. This role is classified as safety sensitive.ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE
· Operate and drive a Pneumatic truck and trailer in a safe and efficient manner adhering to the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Greenhill Concrete rules and regulations
· Provide routine maintenance of equipment including fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection, checking and adding fluids as needed
· Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the truck and/or trailer
· Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered product
· Load, secure, and unload trailer
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
· Complete and maintain a DOT daily log book
· Assist maintenance with repairs as needed
· Read or interpret maps or GPS devices to determine vehicle routes
· Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, phones and GPS equipment to exchange information
· Fluctuate daily start and stop times based on customer demand
· Maintain good customer relations by acting in a professional and courteous manner
· Assist in training of co-workers as needed
· Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Must be 21 years or older
· Have a valid class A CDL license
· 2-3 years of experience in operating a bulk truck preferred
