Digital Learning Platform Strategy Manager (LCMS/LMS) (Finance)

Looking for an innovative, forward thinking training platform manager that will manage the strategic activities of our digital learning platform.
This role will take the management control to a higher level, become a subject matter expert in all aspects of the platform. This person has the responsibility of managing cross organizational project teams and providing status updated as well ensuring new projects do not impact the ongoing operations of the platform.
Essential Job Functions
The role will include, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
· Subject matter expert on Sales Pro Learning Center for Sales and for Partners
· Works with the Platform Administrator on any escalations or urgent support issues
· Develops system standards, policies, procedures and related documentation for new features and projects
· Provide all relevant training to extended team members and support teams for new project related rollouts.
· Participates where needed in the testing of system upgrades and functionality changes and drives change management from current to new functionality
· Maintains all appropriate HPE confidentiality, security, privacy, legal and brand standards and policies as it relates to the platform
· Ensures all projects have workstreams for
o Quality Assurance
o UI testing
· Professional and efficient collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement the best learning practices.
· Form and maintain relationship with Business Partners, Learning Architects, Development Managers and Instructional Designers to ensure the training platform meets all agreed requirements.
· Efficiently use the system in order to provide the organization with a consistent, stable, well-built, and, above all, usable platform
· Cooperate with platform vendor on all aspects of the platform as listed above
· Collect input from internal organization about enhancements and represents towards the platform vendor.
· Review and approve platform related documentation for all special user roles.
· Oversees and drives integrations with other platforms
· Leads cross-functional, cross-organizational team to foster communication on all relevant aspects of the platform
Skills
· Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail; with excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills
· Strong customer service skills to support internal and external customers, responsive attitude
· Strong analytical skills
· Ability to drive and deliver new platform features and projects
· Technical skills at MS Windows operating system level
· Skills in software testing and software quality assurance
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to platform
· Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors
· Ability to gain new technology skills quickly
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Familiarity with e-learning software and best practices
· Expert MS Office skills, specifically powerpoint and excel
· Has advanced organizational and time management skills
· Background in managing complex IT projects and programs
Qualifications
· BS/BA in a related field required; experience, coursework and/or certifications relating to learning management system administration strongly preferred
· Minimum of 7 years' experience as an LMS architect or manager or in similar position, SABA, Brainshark, MindTickle familiarity a plus
· Must be able to work independently with limited instruction and exercise judgment within defined parameters
