Sound appealing? Come join us! BerganKDV has a Full Time opening for an Administrative Assistant to join our Minneapolis team.
This position provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The administrative assistant may be responsible for greeting all guests, answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, mail distribution, and flow of correspondence.
In addition, the position is responsible for a combination of duties to include: formatting, proofing, binding, copying, and filing documents and spreadsheets; mailing; creating PDFs; processing and assembling of tax returns, audit reports and financial data; as well as prioritizing the workload and work timing.
This position is a support function for the entire firm and will accordingly, work on a variety of tasks. These duties may vary by office location.
Responsibilities:
Process tax returns and ensure deadlines are met
Maintain E-file and due date systems
Format, proofread, and bind financial statements
Follow processes in order to maintain integrity of the product
Answer and direct phone calls; greet and direct visitors
Receive, sort and forward incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail
Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
Maintain meeting rooms and general office space
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Complete necessary tasks in order to maintain office flow/function
Set up new clients in databases and provide daily maintenance
