Candidate Responsibilities
The TGMS reviews and assesses the initial intake to formulate appropriate questions for the attending physician based on the disabling condition to determine limitations and future treatment plan. The TGMS must possess a solid clinical background to understand and apply rationale of how illness and injury may impact the claimant's functionality. The TGMS must advocate for the claimant with the treating providers in order that they may receive appropriate and relevant medical treatment for their condition. The TGMS must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to gather and report information accurately, to ask appropriate questions to facilitate partnership with treating providers. The TGMS must keep the claimant involved in the process and must reach out by phone to communicate and advise the status of the claim, and enlist the claimant's assistance when necessary to prevent delays.
