Maintenance Technician (Finance)



Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment, processing support equipment, utility support equipment, and facility related machinery and equipment.

  • Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, identify wear and failures, fabricate parts when needed, adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.

  • Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment. Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools.

  • Prepare maintenance reports, documents , and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using EAM.

  • Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all standard work documentation.

  • Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S and STW activities.

Education/Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Vocational or Technical Degree desired

Work Experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a plastics or fabrication environment required

  • Electrical , Hydraulic , P neumatic troubleshooting experience desired

Shift

  • 12 hour shifts on 2-2-3 schedule , 84 hours bi-weekly.
